Lamborghini unveils next-generation V10 supercar ‘Urakan Technica’

The vehicle is equipped with the same 5.2l engine as the URACAN STO, which has a maximum output of 640 horsepower. The maximum torque is 57.6 kgmm, and thanks to the tolerance weight of only 1,379 kg due to its light weight, the power-to-weight ratio reaches 2.15 kg per horsepower.

For perfect driving dynamics, Uracan Technica’s rear-wheel steering system and torque vectoring system are controlled integrally through a key technology called LDVI. LDVI adjusts the chassis appropriately according to the vehicle operation mode and predicts and reflects the driver’s movement based on the ‘feedforward logic’.

The rear-wheel drive Uracan Technica includes rear-wheel steering and an improved traction control system, the P-TCS system, and the technica-only suspension setup. In particular, the new rear wheel steering system includes a torque vectoring function and is characterized by being directly linked to the steering steering ratio. Depending on the driving mode chosen by the driver, all dynamic systems are calibrated in Uracan Technica and react very differently to each environment.

Uracan Technica’s design has been elaborately modified to highlight both the iconic super-sports lifestyle and the dual personality of the track-oriented car. Uracan Technica has a unique elegance while maintaining strong performance through aerodynamic efficiency and lightening technology, and is designed to be clearly distinguished from other models in the Uracan lineup.

The new design gives Uracan Technica a more powerful and wild appeal. The powerful, inward-facing muscular appearance is entirely made of carbon fiber and connected to a lightweight hood. The front of Uracan Technica, which is the first Uracan model to apply air curtains, is designed to be Y-shaped like Terzo Millenio. The new splitter in the front bumper with a lower open slat, which allows air to flow between the wheels, enables improved downforce and cooling. The black design under the windshield gives the impression that the car looks lighter.

Uracan Technica has the same height and width compared to Uracan Evo, but the length is 6.1 cm longer, and the body looks lower and wider thanks to its silhouette inspired by Essenza SCV12. The black paint on the Y-shaped front bumper extends along the side of the vehicle to the side air inlet, highlighting the dynamic vitality of the vehicle.

The clear, angular design that defines the Lamborghini is also evident on the back. The shape of the rear, including the new vertical rear window, has changed from the existing Uracan and improved visibility. The engine hood, also made of lightweight carbon fiber, celebrates the V10 heart of Uracan Technica.

The intense rear consists of an optimized air inlet, a new rear bumper with a rear diffuser painted in the same color as the body color, and a new hexagonal exhaust pipe that transmits the enhanced engine sound of Uracan Technica.

Thanks to its aerodynamic design, Uracan Technica offers a 35% improvement in rear downforce over Uracan Evo RWD. In addition, the air resistance is reduced by 20%, improving the aero balance and providing stability during braking and rotational speeds. In addition, the lower body of Uracan Technica has been optimized with a new aerodynamic deflector to increase aerodynamic efficiency.
